Bruce Freeman
President
Bruce Freeman is
the president of ProLine Communications, a successful marketing and public
relations firm. Bruce is author of
Birthing the Elephant (Ten Speed Press). He is a syndicated
columnist for Scripps Howard News Service. His weekly column,
"Ask the Small Business Professor" is distributed to 400 newspapers in
the US and Canada. Bruce is an adjunct professor of business at
Seton Hall and
Kean universities.
Bruce Freeman received his Bachelor's of Arts (1973) from the Stat e University
of New York at Binghamton and his Master's in Public Administration (1975)
from Long Island University. From graduation through 1987, Bruce Freeman
held a variety of academic positions including the Departmental Chair
for Information Processing (New York Campus) and Director of Information
Processing Systems (Corporate Services Division) for the Berkeley College
of Business. In 1987, he joined Ziff Davis' PC Magazine as Manager of
PC Labs where he remained until 1991. From there, Mr. Freeman formed ProLine
Communications to provide marketing and media relations to the computer
industry.
Bruce Freeman is a member of the Public Relations
Society of America and the Working Press Association. In addition, he
served as president of the Technology Leaders' Council (TALC), a group
of more than 300 national computer and software user groups and associations.
He is also past president of the Northeast Technical Association, a group
of high-technology companies centered in the Northeastern United States.
Bruce Freeman serves his community through his commitment to the Technology
Advisory Committee in the Livingston, New Jersey school district.
